CRE8 Photography is the culmination of a life long dream to run an agency which uses photography as the conduit for the commercial message. Simply put, we clarify the needs of the client and put them into practise. We are a friendly approachable bunch who help every client get the best fresults they can. We resolve potential pitfalls before they arise and ensure a smooth transition from brief to final image. Here is a bit about us...
Agent
Melanie Grant has been at a senior level of the Photographic Industry for 15 years working for The Times, The Economist, The Independent, The Financial Times, The BBC and The Guardian. She has also spent time on The New York Post and worked with Rankin in London.
Melanie decided to create CRE8 for the challenge of marrying style with commerce and truly believes in the ability and talent of the photographer's she represents. She understands the sometimes fraught business environment and seeks to make the commission process as seamless as possible.
Her specialty is coordinating complex shoots with large budgets and coaxing all the various elements together into becoming part of the visual message. Deadline driven environments are expected and she prides herself on being a true professional under extreme stress.
Her calmness and attention to detail ensure a service to the client, which is second to none.

Brian Harris brings
shape, form and structure where the client has a vision.
He interprets and resolves the brief with an infinite attention to detail and
an exquisite sense of professionalism.
A well-known and keenly respected reportage
photographer, Brian has been a staff photographer on The Times and Chief
photographer on The Independent at its inception.
He has covered every major political event of the past 20 years including the
fall of communism, famine in Ethiopia and four US presidential campaigns.
His unique fly on the wall documentary style has now successfully crossed over to the Corporate world where he has recently covered 'Whisky' for Chivas in Scotland, 'Remembrance' for the Commonwealth War Graves Commission in France, Germany and Italy and the Teachers Training Agency campaign via McCann Erickson.
Brian grew up in London and now lives near Cambridge.
Peter Searle is an Australian Brit who is quickly gaining a reputation for his rich and stylish portraits of some of the leading lights of the arts, science and sports worlds.
Born in Baghdad and raised all over the globe Peter has been a North Sea driller and web consultant before discovering his talent for portraiture.
Peter's highly designed approach to location portraiture and his strong rapport with each subject is revealed in the charisma and natural dignity of his imagery. He lives in London and Unicycles in his spare time.
Matt Cannon is an 'Old School' photographer, having learnt his trade in the dark room he has big ideas and the technical expertise to back them up. He has been producing campaigns for GHD, Puma, Sony, EMI, Volvo, WKD, Blood & Glitter and Bullring for 18 years and is a man obsessed with quality.
The vibrant colour and dramatic lighting he employs is his particular trademark and his sense of humour sees him through even the trickest of shoots. His little girl Matilda is his inspiration.
Simian Coates is an energetic young fashion photographer with off the wall concepts galore! His modern vision is commissioned by many style magazines such as i-D, Pop, Tank, War! and Super Super plus contemporary urban brands such as Adidas, Kickers, Nike, L'Oreal, Sony and Virgin.
Simian grew up in Fiji, then studied Psychology before falling in love with the fashion world. Simian now shoots from his London studio using innovative techniques to photograph the latest fashions.
He started off in the clubs, spotting trends before they even happened and interpreting them for a wider audience. Now he takes the freshness of youth culture and makes it his own, in only a way he can deliver.
Ray Massey is an ingenious man. He creates the studio based world of liquids for most of his campaigns from scratch in a large converted Church in London.
A down to earth west country soul, Ray has been at the top of his game for 20 years, problem solving his way through campaigns for the likes of Coca Cola, Gordon's gin, Guinness, Bacardi, Becks, Smirnoff and 7up.
He loves travelling and recently visited the Himalayas by motorbike, taking pictures as he went. His biggest joy away from the camera is his 3 sons.
